GRAD 2014 ON TOUR
3rd year IDEA students have been touring local employers as part of their 345 Self Promotion class.
The students first visited Taxi Advertising in Vancouver and received a warm welcome from Chris Zawada, Associate Creative Director, Design and Tyler Quarles, a former IDEA grad and now Designer at Taxi.
The second tour stop was to learn about opportunities in the gaming industry at the Electronic Arts campus in Burnaby, where the class was greeted by Sarah Thompson, University Relations Specialist.
A week later the students visited Arc'teryx in North Vancouver and learned from Tom Duguid, Creative Director, about the opportunities and challenges of being an in-house designer.
The final tour took the class to Rethink Advertising in Vancouver where the class met Sophia Pona and Chris Dedinsky, a 2013 grad from IDEA now working at Rethink.
