The 2017 IDEA Challenge is an annual event designed to introduce 1st and 2nd students in a friendly, cooperative, creative contest.  At the end of each Fall term, teams are chosen at random and provided a brief to a new challenge, dreamed up by the IDEA faculty. The goal is to encourage a spirited, healthy comradery and an opportunity for all students to display their skills in concept creation, construction, art direction, and showmanship.

This year's brief tasked the students with creating a mask or headpiece that expressed one of the following words: Interstellar; Abstract; Plantlife; or Creature. Here are some of the wonderful results!

The event was given a 2 hour time limit and prizes where awarded for winners, runner-ups and participants.
