Happy Valentine's Day 2024 from IDEA School of Design!

Check out some student illustrations for Valentine’s Day. Shown above: Valentine’s Day illustrations by Yohahnah Loker and Alisa Nguyen (IDEA Grad 2025).

“Love is all things sweet” by Natasha Lee (IDEA Grad 2024)

After a long stretch of fourth-year school work and grad show prep, I wanted to work on an illustration with a more interesting composition! Always a big fan of Valentine's Day aesthetics, I made the original sketch without seeing the large heart in the middle- only noticing the opportunity as I started playing with the lighting and painting.

“Hope on Valentine’s” by Tin Raganit (they/them) (IDEA Grad 2025)

This collage is a part of my series, "Hope Through the Seasons", for IDES 236's Stylistic Exploration project. It features William Shakespeare's works. I absolutely love the process of traditional collage. Nothing gets me in the flow like it!
