One of the most successful alternative American cartoonists, Lynda Barry has blazed many trails over her 30 year career. Best known for her Ernie Pook’s Comeek, she is also a painter, writer, illustrator, playwright, editor, commentator and teacher.

Carol is Chair of the IDEA School of Design, and co-coordinator of the Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication. She holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and a Masters in Publishing.
