IDEA School of Design students win both Jim Rimmer Community Scholarship for Design Awards!
Many congratulations to Grad 15 students Lilian Leung (project above) and Aimée Grimes (project below), who each won a $1,000 Jim Rimmer Scholarship, open to all design students in BC. These were awarded at Friday's GDC industry event, "Practivism."
The Jim Rimmer Community Scholarship for Design Award is an exciting opportunity for students to submit a completed project (or one currently in progress) for a community program, a non-profit, or an environmental or social cause. Students who are currently enrolled in a design program in British Columbia or who have graduated within the past year are eligible. Scholarships will be awarded on the strength the solution, and how effectively it communicates a message, benefits a community, affects action and promotes change.
