Pamela Rounis: Design ninja

“IDEA has a reputation for creating extremely hirable graduates,” says Pamela Rounis. “We’re taught how to think conceptually along with the hard skills necessary to execute. We’re basically design ninjas.”
Nowadays, Pamela is a designer at Rethink, one of Vancouver’s top advertising agencies, where she works with clients such as Shaw, Molson and A&W. As if that wasn’t enough, in her spare time, she also works as the lead designer for local arts and culture magazine Sad Mag.

Christina Paone: Designing her future

IDEA grad Christina Paone received her first job offer one week before she graduated in 2010. In the four years since, she has founded and grown her own design consultancy: Paone Creative.
Having crafted websites, apps and corporate identities for esteemed clients such as BC Children’s Hospital, Sole Food and Meinhardt Fine Foods, Christina knows firsthand the value of her education.
