Second Year Students (IDEA Grad 2024) Design Some Very Creative Annual Reports in Design Studio I with Instructor, Vida Jurcic
In Project 1 of IDES 243 — Design Studio I, taught by Vida Jurcic, students design the format and concept for a multi-page report, including a cover page, back page, and three spreads for the report. They also write a brief for their project and apply their design to a microsite.
There was some extraordinary work created overall, showcasing both the students' design and illustration skills.

Imogen Pettyfer (IDEA Grad 2024) hosts Student Meetup between First Year Cohort 01, Second Year, and Fourth Year
Last month, Imogen Pettyfer (IDEA Grad 2024) hosted a student meetup between First Year Cohort 01 (IDEA Grad 2025), Second Year (IDEA Grad 2024), and Fourth Year (IDEA Grad 2022).
The lunch took place outside on campus under the Kéxwusm-áyakn ceremonial pavilion between Arbutus and Alder during the noon hour.

Bloc is a digital wallet powered by blockchain technology, and is meant for use by undocumented immigrants to budget, save and make payments from any location providing quick access to humanitarian financial aid and peer-to-peer transactions.

“I went into IDEA School of Design thinking naively that it would give me a more focused career path. I was so wrong – but that’s turned out to be just right for me. Now, a few years and walls later, I still get to paint murals with my IDEA School of Design besties.” she writes.
